Ms Fazlin Harribi
Fazlin Harribi has been at the University of Cape Town since 2002 and most of her UCT career within the Energy Research Center where she gained vast experience in Programme and Office Administration.
She coordinates all PFL- Executive Education courses: Finance Contracts Risk Mitigation, Finance Modelling as well as the Managing Power Sector Reform and Regulation Programmes; she also arranges the PFL local and international events. In addition to the above roles, she is assistant to the HOD and supports the Course Director and Researchers, Research Contracts & Finance Manager and PhD students with any administrative tasks.
The highlight of her career is when she organised and attended an international workshop under the UNFCCC Technology Needs Assessment in Arusha-Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, where she was lauded by the Danish partners for the high quality of the event’s organisation. Some of her philanthropy work includes involvement in the CANSA Relay for Life, Athlone.
As one of her referees describes her “Fazlin is a dedicated colleague, who stands out among her peers for her work ethics, enthusiasm and professionalism. She is known for her easy going, humble and kind nature”. She completed the Associate in Management Programme (AIM) at UCT-GSB in 2009 and the RPL National Certificate in Management at SETA-UCT in 2016. She completed a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) at UCT in 2019.
