Dr Blessing Mudavanhu is an Associate Professor at the UCT GSB. He is Founder and Managing Director of Dura Capital, a Data Science and Business Analytics Company. Dr Mudavanhu is also Visiting Senior Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics as well as Sessional Lecturer at Wits Business School at the University of Witwatersrand. He is former Group CEO and Executive Director of CBZ Holdings as well as Acting CEO and Executive Director of African Banking Corporation (BancABC). Dr Mudavanhu was a non-Executive Director of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA). Prior to his working experience on the African continent, he was a Director in Global Risk Management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York where he was also an Adjunct Professor at Baruch College of the City University of New York.
