Clive Thinane is a practiced and talented Business Leader with 21 years of expert business and managerial experience. His diverse leadership skills span a progressive service and consultation with prominent players in the Financial Services, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Management Consulting, Education, Health, Engineering, Mining, Construction, Energy, Government and Non-profit sectors. During his career span, Clive has achieved great successes, including the establishment of business units, leading group operations, formulating growth strategies for MSME’s and the conceptualisation and execution of large-scale programmes extending beyond South African borders with budgets exceeding ZAR250 million. He has also successfully fundraised for non-profits and start-up ventures, with funds raised approximating $1.95 million.

Clive is the Founder of a Strategy Enablement, Training and Coaching company, which has since grown to serve in other countries. As a strategy enthusiast and certified coach, Clive has worked with over 50 Founders in taking their businesses from ideation to seed stages. In recent times, Clive has provided strategic advisory and enablement to clients in Canada, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. As a professional director, he serves on several advisory boards of start-ups and non-profit organisations.

 Additionally, he is a sessional lecturer at the University of Cape Town GSB and Wits Business School.
