Module 1
Leadership and insights discovery
- Creating awareness of individual leadership strengths
- Understanding own preferences and challenges in leadership behavior
- Linking the Insights Discovery Energies to Leadership, Motivation and Team
- The new world of work and leading change
- Defining actions to heighten motivation of specific team members
- Action Planning for developing oneself as a leader
Module 2
Time to think
- The learning, practice and application of the Ten Components of the Thinking Environment through the Building Blocks
- Use of these tools and practices in dialogue, meetings etc.
- The ability to design team interventions so that all voices are included in robust conversations.
- How to consistently lead in ways that enable others to be at their best.
Module 3
Solving complex problems using systems thinking
- Provide a brief high-level introduction to Systems Thinking
- How to use a Systems Thinking approach to solving complex problems
- Stakeholder and root-cause analysis tools
Module 4
Strategic thinking and implementation
- Identify and plan the future strategy of their organisation, help understand current structures and challenges, as well as to forecast changes needed to be fit for the future.
- A robust practical framework to formulate, develop, and implement plans for achieving strategic goals and realising their organisation’s vision.
- A focus on the topics strategic thinking, industry change, making strategic choices, strategic planning, strategy implementation and strategic leadership.
Module 5
Financial management: key management ratios
- Understand the context of financial management
- Appreciate the role of financial ratios in financial management
- Calculate important financial ratios using an organisation’s financial statements
- Generate important insights about the performance of an organisaiton based on financial ratios
- Based on the information content of financial ratios, evaluate the performance of an organization
Module 6
Changemakers – generating a grounded vision for the future self
- Analyse and understand the complexity of each of our situations, aligning this with the person that we want to be and the emerging opportunities of the world around us.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate, NQF 4 or equivalent
- English proficiency
- 5 or more years work experience
- At least 2 years management experience
