Speakers

Prof. Dr. Remigiusz Smolinski

Negotiation Professor at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management
Paraphrasing a famous quote from Pablo Picasso, I strongly believe that:

The purpose of life is to search for your passion. The meaning of life is to share it with others.

I am very fortunate to have not one but three passions: theory and practice of negotiation, innovation and volleyball.

In 2005, I taught my first negotiation course at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and I absolutely loved it! Since then teaching negotiation has become an important part of my life and my tiny contribution to making this world a better place.

In academia, teaching comes hand in hand with research and it is something I enjoy as well. Discovering the unknown, blazing new paths, and continuously identifying and trying to solve new intellectual puzzles has always been a very appealing part of my academic experience and resulted in the following publications.

I also regularly share my passion also with business professionals, whose success largely depends on their negotiation skills. I enjoy training and coaching managers and executives and advising them on various issues in their complex negotiations. Our seminars generate tangible monetary value and offer an opportunity for the participants to get to know the newest research insights and learn how to apply them in their negotiations.

As a negotiator consultant, I have helped many clients to navigate some of their most complex negotiations in total volume that adds up to billions of euro and resolve their most pressing disputes.

Prof. Dr. Peter Kesting

Negotiation Professor at Aarhus University
Associate Professor of Strategy and Organizational Behavior at Aarhus University (Denmark) and co-founder and advisor of the International Negotiation Teaching and Research Association (INTRA) and The Negotiation Challenge (TNC).

This channel primarily intends to provide resources that are directly beneficial to you for research and teaching/training purposes.

My current focus is on negotiation. But I am also still active in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship and the philosophy of science. For my publications and additional information, please also check: https://pure.au.dk/portal/en/persons/peter-kesting(ca9c1dcf-bc06-459c-82cc-826ba1373878).html

Current teaching - Commercial Negotiation Skills (Master) - Entrepreneurship and Business Planning (Bachelor) - Classical Theory of Science (Ph.D.) - Business Negotiation (Master, MBA, also FH Vorarlberg/Austria)

In my research I am focusing on three major topics: - Negotiation: How can we find the best solutions in collaboration with others? - Innovation: How can we break out of our cherished routines and break new ground? - Theory of science: What can we know and how can we acquire knowledge about the world around us?

My great passion is our joint projects: - TNC - The Negotiation Challenge: Every year we come together from all corners of the world to learn from each other. A unique experience. https://thenegotiationchallenge.org/ - INTRA - International Negotiation Research and Teaching Association: A vibrant network of people from research and practice. https://students.thenegotiationchallenge.org/intra/
